British Motor Show highlights

The British Motor Show got underway last week on Thursday, 18 August and ran until Sunday. Naturally, PaddlUp was on hand to explore the event’s extensive range of classics, supercars and everything in between, whilst also keeping an eye on one car in particular that certainly caught the attention of the crowd.
The Lamborghini Diablo Roadster, currently available to buy on our platform was proudly presented on The Car Crowd stand alongside a Jaguar E-Type, a Ford Escort RS Cosworth, a Honda Integra Type R (DC2) and a Ferrari Testarossa.
Amongst the other exhibitors present was Ian Cook (AKA PopBangColour) who was displaying his artwork and chatting at length with attendees about all things automotive art.
Meanwhile, over at the Caterham Cars stand, the new PaddlUp x Caterham simulator had its first public outing. Created from a genuine Caterham shell and high-end simulator equipment, this unique collaborative project is slated to be present at many of the events PaddlUp will attend this year and beyond.
As was to be expected, there was a fantastic line-up of vehicles to ogle in and around the event that featured a mud-covered Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, a Ferrari F40, a Ford GT and a number of Porsches amongst other examples.
The arenas and stage added yet more activities into a tightly packed schedule, with motorsport classic and supercar parades as well as expert panels and guest interviews.
